How many times in your life has one of your plans come to fruition just as you envisioned, and yet you still find yourself feeling empty on the other side?
All of us carry around a need that we don't understand, but despite the many times we have named that need, we have never been able to answer it.
We think that if we only had enough knowledge, then there would be no more suffering.
A true need and that which answers it comes into creation as a singularity, only appearing to be separate things in time.
There is a false need that creates a false self that believes it can answer the need in a time to come. As the false self seeks an answer, it separates itself from the true need and the answer that is contained within it.
The purpose of emptiness is to be filled by that which was created to fill it. Temptation is the urge to complete oneself through an image of oneself that has been imagined.
If you stay with the emptiness of the feeling of abandonment long enough, then what is intended to fill the emptiness will come to you. Presently you feel that you can fill the emptiness through an act of your own will.
When an active force meets what is passive, the interaction creates a friction that contains a need for resolution. The true resolution to the need is built into the need. The true resolution will never be found outside of the interaction.
The need can't be truly answered by either side of the opposing forces in the interaction of active meeting passive.
A reaction appears with a purpose that cannot be known. Presently we always know the reason for the reaction, so that we can also have a plan and know what to blame.
Karma is not a punishment. Karma is the revelation of something that is true about yourself.
Life is trying to show you that you do not have to act in response to a disturbance, but that your role is to be the receiver of what has been created to reconcile the disturbance, which is within the disturbance itself.
If we only did what was practical, then we would not be drained of the energy that we need to do what is practical.
It is what you know that is producing your fear. Knowledge stands outside the event while naming it, as if naming is the same as reconciling.
We must be quiet enough to see that the need is answered when we stay out of trying to answer it. Live with the need instead of trying to succeed according to an idea of what it means to answer it.
