Free Yourself from Unprocessed Pain

In our lives we walk through a kind of mine field. In certain moments we see how broken people are and we ourselves are part of the brokenness. A broken human being finds fault, rushes, judges, has nightmares, day mares, chronic addictions and suffers without understanding why. He denies his brokenness and doesn't want to know anything about it.

We are broken because we are containers of unprocessed pain. All pain is the reaction to something that is dividing it up. What makes me aware of my divided nature is wholeness. Pain is here to show me something.

We hate what causes our pain, but we can't learn from something we hate. I feel that the pain is a derivative of some image in my mind. But we experience the same pain under different circumstances.

We have lost intimacy with our suffering. That which shows me my pain is there to help me heal it. Life is trying to make me conscious of where I've gone wrong and that I am fractured. I need to allow change to take place. The cause of the pain cannot be known by the self that defines it.

Be willing for the natural correction to be completed. I don't stop doing what is painful because I don't know what the pain is about. Realize- I feel this pain. I will let the pain be processed by Something I don't understand. I will let this pain run its course. I will not think about it.

What I think in my mind has nothing to do with the real pain. Let the pain end itself. We will then become grateful for suffering. All conscious suffering produces new wholeness. Awareness of the divided state is the restoration.
