Here's an insight into the real reason why virtually everyone is always in an internal rush of some kind: The false self is but a fleeting identity appearing as the momentary opposite -- a transient reflection -- of whatever is seen in the stream of passing time amidst its ceaseless impressions. This temporary sense of self fears its own disappearance, and so it rushes to consummate its relationship with whatever "partner" it imagines it must reach in order to sustain its equally imagined existence!
