What I have to say will never be popular, never embraced by any population regardless their race, color, or creed. There is only one way to change the world, and it begins with you and I first awakening to the violence and bigotry that lives unseen within us and that is the corruption of love and kindness itself. Then, and only then, if we won't avert our eyes, will we watch -- as a witness to that Light that has shown this darkness in our nature - all forms of hatred begin to wither and die. This means that we cannot wait for the world, the governments (and their institutions) to change because we need or want them to... and so "hope" they will. They cannot be any different than the people that create and maintain them... and when we (you and I) understand that these leaders -- political, religious, and intellectual -- are exactly the same as we are... then we -- who will see this (situation) and the truth of ourselves (at the same time) - will at last know what it means to want to die for something greater than ourselves: the living Light and Love that cares enough (for us) to awaken us to these truths that set us free.
