Relationship is Life. Yet so often we are separated from Life. We occasionally see the beauty, for example, of the autumn leaves gently falling, but don't see that that same beauty is all around us in every moment. Why? Because something in us is always "telling us a story". The "story" we're told is born from a lower nature that lives to RESIST the moment. This story-telling nature tells me "This shouldn't be happening" or "This should be different" or "Get through this moment and then you'll like the end of the story". These "stories" are the source of our suffering. You are not the author of the story. You did not write the story you suffer from. We are intended to be related to the Moment - not to a story based in the past. See the stories, i.e. "You must get angry about this!", "You shouldn't be treated like that", etc., that you are handed. See that they come from "The Book of Chaff", not "The Book of Life". There is no Life in the "Book of Chaff". Drop the story. Until you can command your attention, you will be the captive of whatever your mind GIVES you to attend to. "End of Story".
