New Choices that Create a Brighter Life

As ye sow, so shall ye reap. We are completely unaware of the invisible eternals we live within and which are responsible for how we experience life. We live in a universe that is 99% invisible and 1% visible. The man or woman who really wants to be a free human being is led to discover these invisible eternals, usually as a result of a lot of dissatisfaction.

The powers we pursue enslave us because the nature that seeks power is actually powerless. If we have problems with people it's because we're in relationship with the powerless parts of ourselves. The only power darkness has is in the absence of the light. If you turn on all the lights in a room then darkness can't enter.

Why do we let ourselves be overcome by darkness? My experience in any moment is a result of what my attention is on. Darkness arises from comparison of where I am to where I think I should be. But if I'm in the present moment then there's no problem. Lightness has no negativity in it because it has no past and therefore nothing to be compared against.

We must put the eternal principles ahead of our self-generated imagination. In our sleep we punish others who are also asleep. For example, what's the reaction when we meet a phony? We pounce on them. We try to be our own power instead of letting principle punish the pretender. But even more important than this understanding is, can I be aware of my judgment and what drives it.
