"Take yourself to the spiritual gym." When meeting a negative state and its threat of pain if you don't do what it commands you to do, don't try to be strong -- instead be willing to bear everything that the moment is showing you. Remain in the totality of what has been produced through the experience, and try as best you can to just bear the revelation. Don't look for something to give you strength to escape, and don't judge the weakness revealed in you by it. The longer you can bear the revelation, the greater the integration of the Truth, in which you will find the strength you need to bear these moments.
