Jesus' disciples asked him how to pray. He said, Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name... Hallowed means that which is unspeakable, which cannot be contained in word or image. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven... This infers that the will of God, the will of the Light isn't being done on earth by human beings. There is disparity and conflict between the two wills. The will of the human being is aligned with the form and condition of imagination of what it means to be aligned with God's will.
So where is God's will? There was a great king who called his daughter to his side and told her he had a grand gift for her. She was so excited and after a day went by, she went to her father and asked him when she would receive her gift. Her told her to get ready he was taking her on a trip. They traveled for several days when she finally asked him again, "When will I receive my gift?" He told her, "We have been riding through it for the last week." She couldn't see the grand gift because she was looking for the small things, for the things she knew...gold, more handmaidens, games and dolls.
We don't know our father's will because we can't see it; it is too big for our present set of eyes. Our eyes are filled with little tiny desires, a relationship, clothes, a new job or living situation. We can't keep our attention for longer than 10 seconds because we are connected to the will of our wants. One day Guy was feeding his birds bread crumbs and decided to give them a whole piece of bread. They didn't touch it because they only knew crumbs.
What we fight with every day is an unseen image born from the road of our past lives. We only see the extension of what was and what will be and resist this with everything we have, when all we are looking on is an image of our own creation. This image we don't want is inseparable from the image-maker. What we want to get away from is "Our time". "Our time" is what is moving right through us and keeps us going. "Our time" is our will. Our will is our desire in the moment. Our desire is to replace our time. We hate where we are. Our desire is the creation of time. It is our impossible attempt to escape ourselves by following what we feel will free us as we resist our life.
The princess could only see life through her time (her desires). All she knew were little things. She could have the keys to the very kingdom she was riding through. We are so blind. We are encapsulated by the content of our desires whose roots are in a consciousness that dreams about a future where one can derive a sense of self. So, a person is lost in and to his sense of time. Lost in a body of his past experiences whose seeming good is only the images of past experiences that gives a person a feeling of life and that life becomes their will. And all they are looking at is an image of what will change their life and this is not life; it is a pretend life born of desire. It is not real life.
A person can't draw pleasure out of what they imagine without the subsequent pain they will feel from the fear of not getting what they have imagined. Pleasure of who we will be is resistance to what we are now. When a person begins to see this, this is the end of their time and the beginning of God's moment. A young man joins a wise man on a journey. When they eat, the young man notices the food maybe spoiled and the wise man sprinkles magic dust on it. Then the young man is wounded and again the wise man sprinkles magic dust on the wound and it is healed and lastly, they are attacked and the wise man uses the dust to protect them. The young man asks the wise man what is this magic dust that has been protecting them? He says to him, "I have sprinkled truth."
What is Truth? What does it have to do with Hallowed? Truth is an invisible agreement of being in all beings, governed by God's being. God's being is everywhere. It is too big to be seen by those who want their own being. It is an agreement of being to be governed by God's being. If we do not contaminate it, it is in perfect harmony with God. Without the past there is no judgment, no fear or resentment. Our past is a mind divided that thinks that what it thinks is separate from the thinker who is considering it. We are our own judge and the will of that judgment is to escape the past that it is entertaining.
We live in a time nature that does nothing but produce more of itself. The bed of us is what stands between God and ourselves. The wave of self arises from what is dead. Real life doesn't have to look for real life. It is what it is. We live from a very small self that wanders around in the Kingdom of Truth and only inhabits a miniscule box. We have to lay this nature down. Recognize what your will has been and be in God's will. Close the doors to the hall of self-reference.
