While it's impossible to be free of "my" psychological body, including the elements inherent in the ceaseless appearance of its conditioned reactions, I am free to change my relationship to that body and -- in so doing -- do the interior work of liberating myself from its equally ceaseless identification with its own self-created dark states.

Exercise
We suffer from our negative states because we never question them. We live from a nature that produces conditions, "problems" so that it can look out and see and feel itself. Our life, therefore, is a reflection of the see-er. Instead of picking up and identifying with a state, work to see it and drop it. Let it appear and then disappear by itself. Be a"ripple watcher" and a "ripple catcher". Let it reveal the changeless you. You have to be willing to not be a "self" if you want to know the real Self.
