Steps to True Spiritual Immunity

Contrary to what the world would have you believe there is no quick fix for your spiritual life. You have to dig deep to work on yourself. Alexander Fleming discovered penicillin, which help people become immune to harmful invaders. We are not immune to negative thoughts and feelings, social pressure etc. But such immunity exists. The light is immune by its nature. Darkness can't corrupt it. We have a form of living light and intelligence which lives inside of us. Its nature is perfect protection that is not apart from itself.

In relationship we learn about ourselves. When I am aware of a tree, I can experience its subtler world. Years ago, a Zippo lighter would seem like magic to the people of that time but not to us. Being immune to negative states seems like magic to some but not to a person who understands it.

Once there was a school that taught the students how to get to a higher country. The students tried and tried but couldn't get past the evil sorcerers who grew bigger and bigger every time they tried to go past them. The dark magicians stood between them and freedom. The teacher was able to pass and when the students asked him what magic he used he said, "I don't have any. I didn't overcome them I just walked till I didn't see them anymore. They can only stop you if you stop for them."

It is not magic but wisdom that is the end of a problem. Negative states engage us and drain us because we don't recognize them for what they are. The sense of self that appears in the moment is itself an extension of the negative thoughts and feelings.

We don't look at our pain for the purpose of understanding it. The problem with being overcome by a state is when we run into a dark condition we don't recognize what is happening, is part of the condition. There was a man on his way to work that was always giving money to whatever cause was at the corner. He never realized that he was always giving his money to the same thief that was always changing his disguises. The detective told him. They can always change their clothes but not their eyes (their psychology). 

--In any moment the first thing that happens is not what we are being told about it. Remember there is more in the moment than meets the eye.

--- After you're told what happened there is a reaction.

--- Told, sold, rolled

-- Rolled is an entire false reality. 

-- A false reality, an imagined life in an imaged moment, created and supported by real pain for the purpose of keeping us captive.

They can only stop me if I stop for them. That thought that tells us what is happening is not intelligence; it is our own memories. We are being sold by the self that appears to resist the moment.

Opposition is inherent in growth. Recognize the opposing force exists because of the intention to be a God centered being. The intention invites the universe to reveal itself to itself and invites natural opposition. Don't stop and talk to it. The wish to be perfected invites the necessary forces we need to do it. There is only negativity if the negative self reacts to the opposition. Don't stop to get negative, the opposing force is part of the future growth. When natural opposition presents itself don't let it tell you what to do, instead uses its presence to help transcend your present level of being.
