Watch for Mona ("Moan-a"), the nature that complains about any event that it doesn't want. When the complaining starts, come to a stop and see how the complaining nature doesn't exist without something to complain about. Make a list of "your" favorite complaints: about that person that bothers you, that condition that seems to be against you, that event from the past that won't leave you alone, that task that you have to do tomorrow. Don't brag about your favorite complaint... just watch Mona. The first time you refuse to give voice to Mona's complaints, she will start to complain louder. Until you can catch Mona, you remain Mona, and she can't be changed. Without the self-knowledge that complaining is the deflection of a revelation, you strengthen the "love of hating what you don't want." If you say "No" properly to the complaining Mona nature, the energy that is usually squandered will be saved for revelation.
