The sleeping mind's ability to explain and then justify its mistakes – AFTER it makes them – is not proof of its wisdom; such "cleverness" is nothing more than its unconscious capacity to deceive itself...something it actually celebrates each time it finds another way to navigate around the wreckage it always leaves in its wake.
