Student Talks: 12/22/2023 - Key Lesson: Every once in a while, we have the great fortune of perceiving a moment of such astonishing beauty, or harmony, that we all but lose ourselves within it. But what is far more amazing than any such vision is this breathtaking fact: were it not for our mysterious capacity to perfectly reflect that moment -- to be one with it in heart, mind, and soul -- there would be no beauty or harmony to behold.

Student Talks: 12/20/2023 - Key Lesson: To everything there is a season, and life's great cycles of expansion and contraction -- of yes and no -- serve no individual save the one who has uncovered the secret of being in the world, but not of it.

Student Talks: 12/1/2023 - Key Lesson: Since it is impossible to be unhappy over what you don't have without first having been subjected to some form of unseen painful comparison, this means the true source of one's unhappiness isn't because of some passing condition, but rather is a creation of an unconscious nature -- punishing itself -- each time it negatively reacts to some imagined happiness lost.

Student Talks: 11/24/2023 - Key Lesson: The single greatest unseen cause of premature aging, stress-related health issues, and ultimately of death is... the deeply mistaken, agonizing idea that somehow our constant struggle to control the outcome of any moment we fear will one day free us from these moments we fear.

Student Talks: 11/17/2023 - Key Lesson: Anytime we struggle in the dark of ourselves -- trying to change our nature -- our efforts are misdirected; our real work is to learn to see by the light that dwells in that darkness, and to know the truth of ourselves, as (it is) revealed.

Student Talks: 11/10/2023 - Key Lesson: Our highest possibility for spiritual growth can't be separated from our daily work to question, explore, and illuminate any dark thoughts and feelings that may confront us along the Way. A fearless life awaits anyone who will cast-off from the "shores of the known," and who will remain set on that celestial course called "self-knowledge."

Student Talks: 11/3/2023 - Key Lesson: The ceaseless, anxious search to find our true place in life, including what we should be doing with it, can never lead to a happy ending until we realize -- in real terms -- to "whom" it is our life belongs... and to what end.

Student Talks: 10/27/2023 - Key Lesson: Any time the mind makes a "package" out of some unwanted moment -- wrapping its reaction (to it) in familiar troubled thoughts, and negative feelings -- it does so at the cost of exchanging a priceless gift it's been given... in favor of giving itself another painful experience (of itself) that it doesn't know it's created for itself!

Student Talks: 10/20/2023 - Key Lesson: When the truth is seen... Words, ideas, ambitions, even lofty aspirations are recognized as blindfolds. Why wait to see?

Student Talks: 10/13/2023 - Key Lesson: No peace appears outside of, or apart from the disturbance that conceals it, and no disturbance appears outside of, or apart from the peace that reveals it. They are inseparable celestial characters, each surrendering itself to become the other... in a ceaseless, seamless Divine act of creation.

Student Talks: 10/6/2023 - Key Lesson: The real reason life feels like it's so full of hard choices that we have to make is because, in our spiritual sleep -- and in the dreams we dream therein -- we stand between a self-created "rock and a hard place": a perpetual captive of the unconscious conflict born of struggling -- in vain -- to protect what we first imagined we must have to be free... from its unseen opposite: an equally imagined fear... that we might lose it.

Student Talks: 9/29/2023 - Key Lesson: True joy is uncalled for; it is like a breeze you didn't know you were waiting for; a silence that speaks of things eternal; (it is) to experience and realize the completion of something within you that you didn't even know was missing.
