The Keys to the Kingdom of Higher Consciousness

The following talk will explain the meaning of the following two Bible quotes: "To be in the world but not of it." "For in him we live and move and have our being." In addition, it will answer the age long questions of man:

Why do I always feel like something is missing? I wonder what it is? Why can't I find it?

Behind everything is a wish to find real shelter and protection from the world we live in. We have looked for shelter in all the wrong places, work, love, money, power, what other people think of us. We have never found it because anything we build or find in this world can only be temporary. If we are going to find real shelter, we have to find it within ourselves. Something inside of us has to be changed in order to change our relationship with the world. This new shelter has to allow us to live in this world without finding ourselves in it.

Human beings are created on this planet to dwell in three states of consciousness simultaneously. Presently we only dwell in 1% of one state of consciousness. We are missing our whole lives. We wander around 24 hours a day and we are never conscious of the world we go around in unless something slams up against us or we receive a shock from life. We are not aware of the world outside of us. We are only aware of the thoughts and images that go through us and the subsequent feelings we derive from them. The self we live in has no existence apart from our reactions to the world we see outside of us. We have no reality until an event or thought takes form inside of us. When we are slammed up against life this is the 1% of the one world we live in. We live within the world but we live 99% in our minds.

The 1st state of consciousness is consciousness of the world we live in. The 2nd state of consciousness is the world inside of us, the world within ourselves. The 3rd state of consciousness is God's world, the universe that contains everything. The unaware self lives in a world it is not awake to or the world within itself.

A great sculptor looks for a block of stone or marble that speaks to him. He receives an impression, he is touched by something eternal, an ineffable force that wants to express itself in a physical form. A writer has an idea and a paragraph is formed. If the artist is good, he or she doesn't add themselves to the impression they have been given but begins to listen to the original intelligence itself so that they can have a living, timeless manifestation of something true. Not create a new impression but be an instrument of the Timeless. The human being didn't create this impression but can be a part of it and his expression of it allows every person who comes in contact with it to experience the timeless in it. It lives within the work they produce.

The heart lives in our body and our body lives in a world and that world lives in another world that we are asleep to. What fills the heart is love - which is shelter, kindness and wisdom and this lives within me that lives in another world. We have no sense of being within God's hands - a heart greater than our own. We are meant to live in the consciousness of 3 worlds but all we know is to comfort ourselves by trying to give things to ourselves. "Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it." "To be in the world but not of it." We live in a physical world but we are of another one. "For in him we live and move and have our being." We don't know anything of this world or of God's world.

The within exercise will begin to develop attention. Do this anywhere you can. First be aware of the fact that you are in the world that is part of a certain environment. You are in something outside of yourself. Then be aware of what is going inside of you. You are within the world of your thoughts and feelings about the world. Being within yourself, within a world, within yourself. The self I am in exists in another world, a heart within another heart. The whole of this nature exists in the world of another consciousness (God's world). Visitation of a new impression exists now. The Light world is waiting to come to you from within a world that is the shelter of all the other worlds.

The shelter of this world will disintegrate. Personality is passing. If we want the shelter of God's arms, his love we have to begin to make contact with it. We have to live in a world where we can't build anything. We can enter into it right now. The shelter of heaven stands in the heart of every human being but it takes work. We have to work at being aware of the physical world, ourselves in the world with all of our thoughts and feelings and all of this is within something greater than us. We are moving through the world, thoughts and feelings are moving through us and there is God's world within us. We can't image the world of God but we can enter into it. We can exist in a 3rd consciousness if we will seek.
