The vast majority of our mental, emotional, and physical patterns -- those repetitive, too familiar pathways along which we walk, are -- in fact -- the creations of an unconscious nature... and all designed to fulfill its unseen purpose: that in our constant, but ultimately meaningless considerations of all we see unfolding around us, we are rendered as good as blind... both to the presence of this lower level of self, as well as to the fact that it lives by gradually talking us to death.

Don't resist -- but choose to assist (Life). Become aware of the "raging bull" in you as it awakens in a moment of disturbance. Work to remember that the lower nature is not "True I." Another altogether different kind of "I" is needed: one that does not oppose what opposes it. First see the opposites at work, and then do not resist the moment. Rather, assist it, by sacrificing the part of you that wants to fight or be engaged in any drama. By refusing to participate in the cycle of second force, the moment can now be used for the purpose of revelation. This is the perfection of heaven upon earth.
