I have been soul searching for my "true calling" in life for several years now. I feel that I can have a huge impact on people but I just don't know exactly what it is I should be doing. How do I tap into what God wants me to do? I feel there is so much inside of me that wants to come out and help others. I would love to hear any suggestions you have.
Answer:
It's a wonderful thing that you feel "called" in this way to help change the lives of others in some meaningful way. And, as you stated, the challenge is to find an avenue -- a direction in which you can pour your energies. Above all, persist with your wish to learn and grow, and then to be able to bring your developing understanding into the world. When someone has a genuine love for something, the love that person has was placed there for a specific purpose. The difficulty is waiting -- patiently, but with eyes wide open, expectantly -- for where that love one has will lead them to the fulfillment of itself... for this is the only way in which such a love can be fulfilled.
