Catch any negative state that wants to continue itself in you. Remember that negativity claims that it does not want what it resists, but in actuality it cannot exist without what it resists. The "I'ling" that is stirred by an event seeks continuity so that it can feel more of itself. Watch how a single thought -- an "I-ling" -- wants nothing but the continuity of its own life, and see that if you can't set it down, then the "magnet" has a hold of you and will pull you wherever it wants to go. Real 'I' is the awareness of these "I'lings." That awareness is individuality and real will. Being conscious of this lower nature's tendencies allows you to stop acting from it. Your true nature is whole and is not the continuity of any particular identity. Being part of the whole is starting over.
