Key Lesson
Part 1
There is only one requirement if our wish is to "boldly go where no one has gone before"... and that is to realize that not only are we the explorer, but the new frontier is either found within us, or not at all.
Part 2
Since what troubles me, troubles me now - then now is when I must awaken to and address within myself whatever it is that makes me ache. To delay this interior work is to lose sight of the doorway that my own disturbed state opens for me, and beckons me to enter.
Exercise
"Awaken Now to the Ache Now." We currently live in a world that is constantly changing. Yet we are always identified with ideas and images that are fixed. So we live in an unending state of conflict, always looking for the "answer" or something to "save" them. The real conflict is in the nature that already knows how things "should be" and then resists anything that challenges that, hoping for "a time to come".
The time to come isn't coming. We must work to "Awake to the Ache Now". See the nature that is always fighting the experience of itself in the moment, thinking things should be different than what they are. Say "IT IS THAT WAY". Die now to the nature that thinks it can think itself out of its pain.
The real illusion is that there's a "you" by your name to be saved. Learn to listen to the true inner guide that can lead you to a place inwardly where you have no idea who "you" are at all. This guide is the Light that sets you free.
