Our eCourses focus on specific topics, building your understanding through a series of related talks. Most eCourses include MP3 audio and MP4 video formats you can play online.
If negative states preexist, then is the same true for the positive ones? Did someone or something outside of us really cause it at all, or just provide the trigger for it to show itself? It makes me start to think that everything is really internal and that all outer conditions are inherently neutral. (Student correspondence)
Answer:
One of the greater maxims of the work is that the inner determines the outer. We receive from life what we perceive, and perception is the sensing/experience produced by the subsequent conception that takes place interiorly when an "impression" strikes essence, or some other conditioned aspect in the psyche.
