Being able to speak the Truth isn’t the same as being a man or woman of Truth.

Everything about the context of our life is in time and that’s not the proper context for a human being. Your nature is not in time but your life presently is because you are identified with all the things that thoughts generate.

No man or woman knows they are bound by chains of its own making. We can talk ourselves into most things or out of most things, but what we can’t do is stop talking.

The context for us of freedom is that it’s not where I am. Time is the distance that thought creates when the thinker creates in imagination a moment when it won’t be the self it doesn’t want to be.

Nothing is evil save for the thinker that makes it so. Evil lies in the thinker.

You’ll know that you are approaching the beginning of a new relationship with Life when you no longer want from life what you thought you couldn’t live without.

We can’t have a real life until we die to the false one.

Let the dead bury the dead; the dead are the people who can no longer suffer seeing themselves as they are.

Freedom is related to attention, because freedom already exists in the grand completion of existence which is unfolding as if it were in passing time, but in the grand scheme of things it is already done.

Perfect understanding is perfect freedom.

The hardest thing in the world to do is to be a natural human being and to be natural is to be free.

Time is the desire to transcend where we are to get to what we need to do to be good and happy. Desire and time are the twin bat wings on a very dark creature.

The problem isn’t with what is desired; the problem is with not knowing who we are without it. The story of the good Samaritan.

There is no pain that we’re not a part of and that isn’t a part of us.
Psychological pain is a human creation.
