The events that we don't want must return. Above our present understanding is the fact that everything that transpires is the expression of another order of being that is responsible for reconciling the moment.

The root of all true teachings, the true basis of religion, is "metanoia," which is the capacity to turn around and experience a completely new order of relationship with life.

In order to have a new understanding, you are going to have to look in a new direction. Everything depends upon what we are looking at.

What don't we see that is right in front of our eyes? What we don't see is that the mere progression of time does not necessarily lead to understanding.

If we aren't present to the moment, then we are not going to have the presence to respond intelligently to the circumstantces we find ourselves in.

We are never going to think ourselves out of torment. Thinking and identification with thought IS the torment.

There is never a moment in which the Divine circulation of life and death is not renewing everything.

It seems to us as if the moment is always asking, "What is the right answer?" Therefore we live in fear of answering the moment incorrectly.

The mind measures everything that it does against an imagined mark.

How did it become natural to think about ourselves as the first thing to do in response to a disturbance?

If you do not die to the nature that regrets, then your physical death will be filled with regret.

Hell is spending your life trying to live up to the heaven that the mind has imagined.

We live from a nature that looks at life as if each and every moment is a giant pass-fail test. Real life is not a pass-fail test. Life is a constant request that you turn in the right direction and see that, as you are, you can no longer continue to meet life in the same way.

What test are you afraid of failing? You believe you have failed if you cannot get life to unfold the way that the mind imagines it should.

Every creature in nature is designed to be tested, so that those creatures can develop through meeting their own natural limitations. We on the other hand perceive limitation as a weakness to be avoided. But limitations are intended to be revealed and are part of a strength yet to be realized.

When you see the ignorance of this sleeping self, new understanding is strengthened.

Every moment is asking, "Will you agree to be educated by seeing that you are not who you have taken yourself to be?"

When you exercise physically, you are always glad that you went through what the body did not want to go through.

The only time you miss the mark is when you allow this present nature to look at life and tell you what the mark is.

Revelation is never about what is not. No revelation is negative.
