Wake Up and Walk Away from Your Constant Conflict with Unwanted Moments

We're created with the capacity to understand that we are part of a higher order that is always asking us to outgrow who and what we have been.

We need a new understanding of order, and the purpose of a true school is to introduce men and women to what higher order is.

Real beauty is incomparable, which means that there is no "you" there analyzing what is being observed. In fact, in those moments there is no separation between the observer and the observed.

The feeling of resisting an unwanted moment is always the same, regardless of the condition that is being resisted.

Real life doesn't come to any conclusions. Real life never stops exploring itself.

The only reason why we suffer the way we do is that we have come to a conclusion about what unwanted moments mean.

Every negative reaction is preceded by a resisting nature that describes why you are feeling conflict.

The real struggle is not with the condition that is being blamed. The real struggle is with the reaction to the condition. This divided nature IS the conflict that it is experiencing and doesn't want.

What we are really looking for is freedom from the pain of our own reactions, and yet those reactions are not ours.

This divided, time nature is always looking ahead and behind itself at the exact same moment.

The tomorrow that you are always resisting is the same as your yesterday. Fear over tomorrow is resistance to an image from the past.

Resistance is intended to strengthen the thing that it is acting on. Not understanding the nature of resistance turns it into a constant conflict with life. Awareness of resistance makes use of the resistance.

"No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon." -- New Testament. The two masters are really one unconscious nature that lives in the past and future at the same time.

If you begin to understand the nature of resistance, then you also begin to have a new relationship with what were formerly seen as unwanted moments.

The business of the past is not your business. Who would you be without thinking about the past, struggling to reach a conclusion?

The whole idea of coming to a conclusion in order to end conflict IS the conflict.

There is no moment in which the Divine does not have unfinished business with you. The idea of finishing is a false one, and a painful one. As you learn to cooperate with Divine business, you come to the end of unconscious resistance to unwanted moments.

The order of mind that we presently live from cannot see anything above itself.

Spiritually speaking, don't try to bring an end to your pain. Instead, persist with your wish to understand it.
