Our mind is always struggling with what is happening because it does not match up with what it believes should be happening. As a result, we see everything as being flawed.

Presently our lives are predicated upon struggling to get others to see life the way we do.

Being spiritually asleep, resistance becomes our chief advisor, telling us what we have to do in order to get rid of the pain of unwanted moments.

The hero or heroine in any story must encounter a tragic flaw in his or her character. It is called "harmatia." It was the Greek translation of a word that meant "to miss the mark."

Somewhere in our consciousness there is a tragic (fatal) character flaw, something that is incomplete in its understanding that turns to the past to get through everything it encounters.

We are not victims of circumstances. We are victims of a tragic character flaw within our own consciousness that creates the very circumstances that it then blames for its pain.

Every last tragic flaw in our character is connected to identification with an image we have about ourselves.

We blame the condition for our pain because we see the condition through the eyes of a tragic character flaw.

The Divine is always trying to show us that we have been listening to the counsel of a tragic flaw in our character, which always attempts to avoid that very revelation.

The fatal flaw tells us what we must do in order to be free from pain, but it is that fatal flaw itself that IS the pain.

Karma is the action of the Divine reconciling the Will of Heaven with the will of earth.

If you will recognize the fact of these fatal flaws within you, then instead of passing that painful character onto others, that same flaw can be used for revelation and transformation.

To see that you have acted out of ignorance is the beginning of real intelligence.
