How to Break and Escape the Chain of Negative Reactions (Blog)

First Key Lesson: If we mistakenly give any negative reaction its "life" -- then the opposite must hold true: we can consciously withdraw that same life any time we so choose!

A Tale of Two States

Painful negative reactions may be seen as one of two possible results, and both are true: on one hand a negative reaction is a revelation of, and the hidden temptation to reincarnate some old identity, a false sense of self whose time has passed, but that wants to "live" on.

On the other hand, a painful negative reaction can be realized as the revelation of a hidden invitation... to not only break that chain of old mechanical reactions, but to realize, in that same moment, a new and higher order of freedom that we might call self-liberation.
