In our virtually constant state of distress, we almost never stop asking the world -- and everyone we know in it -- to complete us; that is, until on some blessed day, we awaken to see that we have had everything about our relationship with others “upside down, and backwards.”

And, it is on that same day we begin, in earnest, to work at actualizing the following truth that sets us free:

Before we will ever know anything about the true nature of Divine Love we must first learn to ask something of ourselves... and then summon the courage to make that sacrifice, as needed.
