"This Is Not My Problem" (TINMP). Catch any strong OMG reactions you have to an event, a piece of news, or to a conversation with someone that fills you with negativity. See how this sudden onset of pressure tempts you to set out on a path to resolve the pain. Struggling to resolve a problem in order to restore the image you have of yourself keeps you stuck in the past, stuck in an identity that needs problems in order to exist. Attend instead to the nature itself that keeps getting you to dive headfirst into blame and judgment and say inwardly, "This Is Not My Problem... this is not my pain." Observe the pain and the nature that resists the moment. Be present to the pain of the past as it tries to overpower your life. "Sell" the old "you" that is always carried over from the past. That old nature's problem is no longer your problem when you are conscious of the pain that it produces.
