Just as nature practices perfecting herself through the myriad creatures she creates to reflect her limitless possibilities in passing time, so the Divine manifests Its Spirit through each soul It creates who may, in turn, (awaken to) realize their role in the revelation of Its eternal perfection.
The development of unconditional character can't begin without the practice of Presence, including the sacrifice it demands... because what is unconditional character other than the soul's ability to reflect and reunite itself with the Light of Love from above... from out of which radiates all that is Timeless, Righteous, Constant and True.
If we work each moment to practice kindness, patience, and persistence -- doing so in grateful remembrance that each breath we take is a gift -- here's what we'll find: the power of being present in this way ensures that each of our "tomorrows" dawns with more Light than was seen this day.
Your understanding of -- and therefore your relationship to -- passing time depends upon living in Presence, the conscious act of remembering (the whole of) yourself. Practicing this Presence is an active relationship... a dynamic partnership between attention and awareness that once married serve to reveal a Timeless world already present within an equally Timeless you.
Part 1 Unconscious suffering is a creation of incomplete perception; it is the inevitable painful outcome of having mistaken the partial for the whole. Part 2 Employing self-remembrance, strive to practice Presence; (this) one action is the path of spiritual purification, even as it serves to reveal all of God's Kingdoms presently concealed within you.
Topics covered: "Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it." -- New Testament; Nothing in nature grows in a straight line. There is no straight line because there is always a creative force is acting upon the new creation. The force of creation, nor the creation that it is acting upon, are ever the same; The negative states that seem to come out of nowhere will tell you the reasons for their appearance, which always includes some form of "I'm innocent, you're guilty." Negative reactions will tell you why you are the way you are.
Part I: Seen properly, what is any dark mental or emotional habit -- such as regretting our life, cultivating resentments, or fearfully trying to protect ourselves from what "may be" -- other than the unconscious practice of perfecting what punishes us? Part II: Resisting any negative state merely helps it realize its full potential to make you its prisoner!...
As we're about to discover, the little phrase, "I see myself," describes a single action that has the power to change the heart of whoever is willing to embrace its practice. But, before we examine the exercise, let's take a closer look at what it means to "see ourselves" -- as we are -- especially when someone else has failed to please us.
In a world of unconscious beings -- steeped in an ever-increasing immorality -- self love is worshipped as Godliness; where, for the sleeping masses, hypocrisy -- practiced to perfection -- passes for goodness. It has always been this way, so that anyone who comes to shed light on the fallen estate of humanity is reviled... called "evil" by the very darkness he or she strives to reveal.
The more we practice quietly stepping outside that rushing stream of thoughts about ourselves, the more we realize our True Self as being something altogether unthinkable; for the undreamed power of a silent mind is this: Since it never sinks itself into useless considerations of the painful kind, it has no need to be rescued from its own troubled creations!...
