Classroom Talk: 4/10/2024 - It's impossible to see, let alone walk the indefinable path of the presence moment until we realize we've been deceived into looking at virtually every moment of life through the 'I's of the past.

Knowledge doesn't exist without the past, while the Light of higher self-awareness has no past.

Why is it we cannot learn these spiritual concepts from birth, instead of in the last chapter of life? As I look back, there are so many things I would rewrite. I know they are just pictures passing through my mind at present, but they still bring sorrow to my heart. Poor choices have consumed so many years ... it is hard to believe I could have spent so much time chasing my tail!...

It is impossible to change the relationship that you have with the world around you without changing the relationship that you have in yourself, with yourself. This is the secret teaching of the ages, including being the root of Christ's teaching, as it directly relates to the necessity of a new mind. Despite our resistance to it, no unwanted moment in passing time -- in and of itself -- is ever "wrong", or "out of place." Our incomplete understanding of the reason for its appearance not only tends to color such moments "dark," but our unconscious identification with this false conclusion then acts to drag us down into that same imagined darkness.
