Part 1: A real wish rises out of the ashes of expectations realized and found wanting. A false wish is a temporary spark that -- no matter how many times it's fulfilled -- never quells the fire that gives it birth. Part 2: To be spiritually asleep is to be unaware of other levels of awareness.

What is true never fears investigation; what is false... fears everything.

Only what is 'guilty' resists or otherwise fears having its character accused of some shortcoming, and actively denies whatever it feels has judged it unjustly; but what is innocent cannot feel condemned. It fears no judgment anymore than a sunrise fears the grip of the darkness it has come to release.

You may want to think about this for the rest of your life... and I'm not kidding. The need for a lesson to be learned attracts the condition it requires to be fulfilled. Do you see how benevolent is the Creator (whatever word you want to give to it)? Because look, how many of you think to yourself, "Oh joy, here comes a lightning bolt! Here comes a lesson!"
