We are not only complacent in our imperfections, but have begun -- individually and culturally, accordingly -- to perfect, if not glorify the ways we avoid dealing with these weaknesses in our consciousness.

Tension is the struggle between Yes and No; the wish to stay, and the will to go. Peace is the empty space between here and there: a ladder without rungs suspended mid-air.

Not through consideration, but in good Conscience, and not by evidence of the senses, but within solitude and silence should we weigh those matters concerning the care of our soul...

Where to start. Attentive to three worlds in One: Above, in stillness. Below, reflective. Holy receptive as... an instrument of acceptance. Quietly witnessing all things end... and begin again.

When securing the ground we stand upon rises above the stars we would reach... then our vision has sadly fallen and spirit surely follows behind...
