It is true that this world is twisted and upside down. We mustn't cast stones, but rather work to realize why this has happened. Even a cursory glance over our involvement with our Earth shows we are in wrong relationship with life, and with the truth of it as such. Throughout time our spiritual life has played a constant second fiddle to our aspirations and ambitions in this world. However, when we turn around (which is the original meaning of the word "repent"), then the Truth begins to reveal itself directly to us. Any other truths, other than the ones that have come to life within us and for us, become our secret captors. Work to awaken. Ask God to help you see the truth in all things. Then when you read the Bible, or any other great religious text, you will know from yourself whether those words were inspired or from authority-seeking, self-deceived power mongers.

Yes, we come upon our True Nature by continually awakening to who and what we are not. This is a real work process that is unmistakable to the self-working individual. As what we can no longer be becomes clearer to us, there is a kind of internal dying to ourselves; in this conscious self-passing arises a whole new sense of our being born through and in relationship with Christ/God. The Bible can be a wonderful source of wisdom and encouragement, as long as we realize that its teachings are intended to lead us to our own discoveries of Real Life, and not provide us with a false sense of self and imagined security.

In a very certain sense, it is always "end time," a fact most of us realize, in scale, too late, each time we crash into the end of one false hope or another. At our present level of development, we perceive our life through a nature that is both a creation of time and that can see events only in time. In reality, everything is already done and is at the same time occurring. The spirit of Christ is now, not back then. The choice is now or never. Revelation is now, not a time to come. Therefore, end time is now, never-endingly. This is why our soul's task is to be awake and to choose the light, right side of life. Then all else good just happens.
