Nothing is created to "have and to hold," but rather always to be transformed by the Greater Life in which it is held, and that acts upon it... in order to bring about and reveal the infinite possibilities inherent in its continual perfection.

We can neither control, nor change any anxious thought or feeling that rushes in and sweeps us off of our feet because this "I" - this sense of self suddenly in a struggle to escape some psychological storm - is itself part of the tempest it so vigorously resists.

No condition, in and of itself, is ever the cause of psychological stress, fear, or regret; suffering of this kind is inherent in an unseen, unconscious level of "self" that resists changing conditions because it is incapable of changing with them.
