Any plan born of desire soon expires both itself, as well as the fulfillment it promised to those who seek it, as imagined. On the other hand, those who follow what they love are continually enriched, especially as they realize that the flawless author and guide of their journey... is Love itself.

Without something to oppose it, what is any painful negative reaction...other than a temporary wind looking for a sail, a conflict passing through an unconscious mind that – if left alone – has no choice but to blow itself out, and return to its native emptiness.

It's impossible to protect a fear and hope to free ourselves from it at the same time.

Only by coming to know the Divine purpose of each moment in our life can we hope to play our part in the fulfillment of the purpose of Life itself... the only relationship in which there can be a fearless, unshakable peace.

If thoughts are cheap, and negative states are a dime a dozen, then what does that tell us about any part of us that likes spending its time identifying with them?

True compassion ­– a patience that never punishes – is our yet realized right to “love our neighbor as ourself.” But this Grace belongs only to those who have seen – and who dare to remember – this one great Truth in a time of trial with those who trouble us: there is no separate self.

All unhappy reactions have an allotted time of life, and will pass away…but only as we learn to pass on identifying with their painful presence within us.

There is what we are given to do by this world, whatever those responsibilities may be; and then there is our right ­­– in any moment we remember to do so – to give ourselves to what we love. To remember this truth, and do the work to actualize it, is to discover that love has already set us free.

Attending to, completing what the present moment asks of you is the business of Real Life. In the silence of this relationship is revealed and received, at once, a faith no fear can shake, an innocence no temptation can break, and a freedom that no unwanted moment in life can ever take from you.

Don't wish for freedom; choose it. Start by challenging the false notion that, of itself, fear has any real power. It does not. Deliberately defy the painful presence of any fearful thought or feeling that, left unexamined, makes you a prisoner of its dark domain.

The problem is you don't live in the world that you think you do; on the other hand, the problem is... you live in the world you think you do.

The Divine always has our back... as long as we agree to face in the Light direction.
