Remastered Classic Talk: 10/19/16 - Best keep your eye on the interior life; let it be first and foremost. If the direction of outer life interferes with the awareness of the inner, follow the inner. Better they marry, but never allow what is outer to have precedence over the inner... and should this be so, if you're not yet able to do otherwise, then let this (state) be as a sorrow to you until, from out of it, comes the discipline needed to put first things first.

Life asks.

And when, at last, 

We are willing 

To surrender whatever

Life may ask of us,

Excluding nothing –

Let alone our most 

Familiar sense of self –

Then, for having died 

To the fear of death 

We are set free.

Remastered Classic Talk: 05/18/16 - It isn't your moment... unless you like doing time; real Life is a single movement. Whatever stirs you is a portion of the dance; whatever you hear is a single line from a verse or song with neither beginning nor end. Even these hints about heaven have already moved along. Creation is unceasing, so don't linger; for whatever seems to be here... isn't.

Student Talks: 3/21/2025 - It may be said that one finds freedom from suffering over oneself in direct proportion to one's realization that there is no separate self whose suffering is to be resisted.

Topics covered:  A lesson comes along on the back of events to help you see something about yourself that you had never seen before; Weakness passes itself off as strength, which the moment comes along to reveal as false; We never question why we live with worry and struggle in order to arrive at a life free from worry and struggle.

Topics covered:  For things to change, familiar reactions need to be met with something different than what you usually meet them with. You are going to have to meet the moment with something that does not repeat itself; You are going to have to change that moment as you enter into it, not after it has happened; The Divine junction is the place where the Will of Heaven touches the will of earth.

Topics covered:  People go into pain over being told that their pain is self-inflicted; Most of us are more interested in trying to answer our pain (resolve it) than in understanding it; The very last thing that a human being wants to do is give up their suffering.

Experience -- like the flow of a river -- is a silent, wordless movement. We can either live in, and from the conditioned experience of a word, or in the timeless awareness of experience itself.

The Will of Heaven is never not acting upon the will of the earth; We are made in the image of that which made the world. We are a microcosm of the macrocosmic life; We are meant to use the world as the mirror that it is, in which there is an awareness of Creator and creation, without needing to think about it...

Topics covered: If you believe that you can lose your freedom, then you never had it to begin with; We are that which is used by the Divine, or we are not. If not, then there will always be an anxious attempt to achieve what freedom is imagined to be; Conflict in nature strengthens the whole of nature so that it comes out it more complete.
