Fear / Fearlessness

Topics covered:  If the Kingdom of Heaven is within, then there is no distance between you and the Kingdom, and it takes no time to get there. Whatever is keeping you from knowing that must be something that sits outside of the Kingdom; It is impossible to resist "what is" without there being within us some unseen presence of a fixed position that is already in place. There cannot be a struggle with "what is" without the presence of something that is fixed.

Key Lesson: What is past is colorless; neither does it have texture, any taste or odor. To lend any one of these qualities to what is no more is to transform what may be useful now into a prison of painfully pre-determined outcomes.

Remastered Classic Talk: 5/24/17 - Constant inner dialogue -- that infernal internal conversation running through your head -- is the fear-driven manifestation of a lower nature that first imagines a threat of some kind, and that then can't stop talking to itself about how to protect itself from its own dark dream.

Part 1: We are told that life is everlasting -- but see that nothing lasts! We are taught there is no death, and yet we see it everywhere around us! We dwell in the middle of an immense contradiction wherein one part of us feels the possibility of a life eternal, but that sees, and fears -- in the same moment -- only the inevitability of the opposite.

Part 2: The Great and Timeless Teaching -- that which can't be taught -- can only be learned through humility.

Topics covered:  A profitable human being is one who no longer serves fear; Truth comes to show you that you have not been able to change your life because you have been living an imagined life; "The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." -- New Testament -- In a true reflection, there is no division.

Topics covered: We go looking for a way to save ourselves from a nature that creates the very thing that we suffer over; We are intended to live within the immensity of God's life. We are drawn to that immensity because everything else pales in comparison; Something within us is terrified of disappearing, of not being able to find itself in passing time.

Key Lesson: Starve a fear and feed your freedom. Key Question: How can we be devoured by any thought? Might as well believe that a shadow can consume the light that creates it! Second Key lesson: The more any painful thought or dark feeling asks of you, the less you must give it.

Part 1: You cannot hide from what you fear; it is impossible. Part 2: You cannot believe in fear, and free yourself from it at the same time!

Freedom is what remains when we see -- with new eyes -- that we have never been anything else.

We can either spend our lives shaking in fear each time an unwanted moment arrives -- trying to protect ourselves from it -- or we can use that same situation to see through the false self that believes being fearful can lead to the end of being afraid.

Remastered Classic Talk: 07/20/16 - Here is a great unseen Law: never ask someone to do for you what you haven't first struggled with, mightily, to do for yourself... For in adherence to this Law not only will you be open and willing to admit your present set of limitations, but you will also be forever grateful to whoever steps forward to help you see how to transcend them.

The real cause of any fear, anxiety, or dark emotion isn't because of some unwanted condition that appears before our eyes -- it hides behind them. These dark, seemingly animated shadows are temporary creations; they are cast by a false light of some imagined, brighter time to come that -- even as we identify with it -- causes us to fear it may not come to pass.
