Topics covered:  Without knowing it, something in us sets out each day with the secret intention of remaining the same as it was the day before; We say that we want peace and freedom, or a relationship with the Divine, but psychologically speaking, we spend our time defending old beliefs so that what is old and familiar remains in place; You can't transcend the nature that wants to remain as it is unless you first SEE it. You must have an interest in seeing what remains hidden within you.

Part 1: It is impossible to hear the "Voice of Heaven" -- to be in any level of communication with real conscience -- and to be talking to yourself at the same time.

Part 2: In stillness, I see. In silence, I hear. Seeing and hearing in this way, I am instructed... And come to understand.

Remastered Classic Talk: 9/14/16 - Part 1: Real-life is the ceaseless expression of converging celestial forces as altogether they manifest what "cries out" to be harmonized in creation by the (merciful and loving) will of the Creator.

Part 2: Most everything that we think we "see"... isn't as it appears to be; that's why "wait and watch" is the true path that leads to the summit of higher self-knowledge.

Nothing we blame for the pain of our anger, anxiety, or fear can ever change their real cause. The true source of our suffering -- individually and collectively -- is an unconscious nature that invents its own enemies, and then suffers in the futile attempt to conquer them... something it can never do, just as it's impossible for a shadow to overcome sunlight.

Student Talks: 06/27/2025 - No seed -- whether a kernel of corn, or a special talent -- can prove itself any more valuable than the sweat it takes to sow it, cultivate & nourish it until it offers up its latent Good. In much the same way, the soul is a seed; relationships are its ground; and what grows when all is properly cared for... is unconditional Love.

Topics covered:  If we all wore t-shirts that described our inner lives, they would say "Out of Order: Proceed with Caution;" The great unspoken assumption behind all of our unrest is the certainty that what is happening should not be happening; Everyone and everything challenges the order that we have established. And anything or anyone that is out of order must be put back into order so that all will be well again, in a time to come.

Remastered Classic Talk: 10/14/15 - The fact that we can't see how, too often, we follow a part of ourselves that is blind -- as evidenced by the eventual pain of having to pay for its missteps -- proves that this 'I' -- this part of us must surely be as blind as our guide, or else we would be able to see the blindness of this "self" in whose footsteps we have placed our trust!

Remastered Classic Talk: 2/24/16 - The real victory in life, the only one that lasts beyond passing time and changing circumstances, is awakening to the realization of another order of being -- already within your Self that neither time nor circumstance can ever take from you.

Topics covered:  The true interior path is about ceaseless exploration, not about coming to conclusions. We get stressed every time we come to a conclusion. Exploration stops when we come to a conclusion; The advanced spiritual life is already here in every moment, not in what you imagine the spiritual life is supposed to be; Nothing can grow without humility, because for anything to grow it must be in a position of receiving, yielding to what is above. No humility, no transformation.

Classroom Talk: 3/27/2024 - New, true self-knowledge re-orders the world we see because, for one thing, the way we experience each moment of life is inseparable from how we understand it; so that just as a fractured mirror can only reflect back an image that seems shattered, so is it true that a divided mind can't see what is holy.
