Being in conscious relationship with what is Holy in life is only as possible as we are willing to see, and to be, accordingly, the whole of who and what we are in each moment...

Student Talks: 11/08/2024 - Key Lesson: Persistence – without our awareness of the parts of us that steadily insist there’s no further we can go – is a recipe for frustration; this painful sense of self slowly morphs from simple despair into an unholy cynicism that, in turn, serves to confirm what we see as our own unwanted, but unavoidable conclusion: we’ve no other choice but to give up our wish to transcend whatever limitation we’d been called to outgrow.

Far more important than the passing sense of inspiration it produces within the self, revelation promises the possibility of abiding in a living relationship with a Wise and Loving intelligence unbounded by time and circumstance.

There can be no lasting freedom from any psychological suffering... other than to first illuminate the unconscious condition responsible for it, and then to undertake the dedicated interior work it takes to withdraw from that relationship.

The reason most people never come to know a true relationship with the divine is because this perfect union is born in the consciousness of their helplessness, nourished by their poverty and matured in their humility.

If we would awaken -- if ever we are to realize a (conscious) relationship with the Divine -- then a time must come when we are no longer able to believe in the time of becoming.
