Being able to release one's resistance to any unwanted moments does more than help to change the tide of events; it proves that there's always a safe harbor available... if we'll just remember to "swim" for it!...

The unconscious resistance to seeing ourselves as we presently are keeps us from becoming what God has made it possible for us to be.
Part I: Resisting any dark condition of ourselves does not save us from it. To the contrary, any unwanted states of self from which we try to rescue ourselves we not only revisit, but revitalize. Part II: Psychological resistance is not a positive strength but a negative power.
The suffering inherent in negative states is the dark creation of a level of self that believes its conflict with life can be reconciled through resistance.
Our essential resistance to deeply understanding the whole of any story is that such an undivided realization transcends the self that always identifies with one side and resists the other. However, it is by dying to this interior division of self that we ascend to our native wholeness and inherent holiness that is without fear of the dark.
