For instance, it is a lie to try to manipulate the way that we are perceived by others; A lie is any attempt to force life to line up how you have imagined it should be.

Topics covered:  Every day of your life is meant to include a new revelation of something that has always been within you, but that you were not aware of before; If you know so much, then why are you still so afraid?; When we are fighting with a moment, it is another will that has come into our life and acts in our name, but we don't know it.

Topics covered:  Without knowing it, something in us sets out each day with the secret intention of remaining the same as it was the day before; We say that we want peace and freedom, or a relationship with the Divine, but psychologically speaking, we spend our time defending old beliefs so that what is old and familiar remains in place; You can't transcend the nature that wants to remain as it is unless you first SEE it. You must have an interest in seeing what remains hidden within you.

Topics covered:  We seem to be at peace whenever we are getting what we want, but anything can interrupt that kind of peace; There is never a moment when you are not being given what you need, but you have to want to receive what you are being given; If you are thinking about how to face a moment outside of what is practical, you are lost.

Topics covered:  Spiritually speaking, the very action of looking for something often separates you from what you are looking for; We live in a world that exceeds our understanding of it; If a tree falls in the woods and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Can there be a sound without an ear to hear it? And can there be hearing without the awareness of it? Hearing does not exist apart from relationship. Everything is a relationship.

Everything that exists affects everything else; All of creation is in constant labor, because there is never not something being born. Spiritually speaking, we don't generally understand the suffering that is inherent in the labor of birth; Pain is a mistaken love for something small that promises to love you back if you give yourself to it.

The path of development requires that you meet limitations; We will go through great pains to make sure that we get what we want. But there is another kind of pain that we don't usually want: seeing the truth of our present nature.

Whatever is keeping you from knowing that must be something that sits outside of the Kingdom; It is impossible to resist "what is" without there being within us some unseen presence of a fixed position that is already in place. There cannot be a struggle with "what is" without the presence of something that is fixed.

Topics covered:  We keep reaching out into the world for what seems to be missing because we are not at peace with ourselves as we are; Whenever we are looking to distract ourselves, there is an unseen hope that we will find a lasting refuge of some kind. We are hoping to find some kind of relief from feelings of dissatisfaction; The nature that feels dissatisfied and incomplete will find ways to create dependency in others so that it can feel momentarily significant.

Topics covered:  What we call our thinking isn't really us doing the thinking at all. Rather, it is a mechanical mind talking to itself about what each moment means; The nature that reacts mechanically has already concluded what the moment means even before the condition that stirs it to the surface. As we are, we are that reactive nature; Any time life runs counter to expectations, there is instantaneous judgment and resistance.
