Is there a way we can know we are ready to teach others? I have tried and found I normally make things worse. How do I find the balance between the urge to help and when to be quiet? Should we try to help someone with their spiritual development, or must they be "receptive"? What mistake can there be in presenting a few truths to others with the hope that the ideas strike a right chord within...
How can I know what is a "sin" and what is not? (From student correspondence)...
Student Talks: 10/28/2022 - Key Lesson: Part 1: There is no map to the Kingdom of Heaven that isn't out of date the moment we set out to follow it. Part 2: Consider the one most free who has learned to see, even in adversity, the Good... whose unfailing Light shines on even in the darkest night.
Question: One of the things I would really like to get better at in my practice is compassion, particularly with my spouse. She is not into what I'm into, but I want to be aware that I am just as helpless as she is. I want to be conscious of that, and I just want to be compassionate.
Question: Is it possible that some of us just cannot learn in a single lifetime? The mind says enough is enough. Having done all I can and failed, there is only a fleeting flicker of light at the end of this tunnel. I accept that only Divinity can provide in this moment, but I'm tired and wait in silence to hear. Knowing I need help, I continue to ask. Will this be enough?
My life is beautiful in peaceful surroundings and with loving friends. But where is my lover? Where is my dream? Not anywhere in sight... and that's been the case forever. I lost my husband in divorce, and then the journey through emotional hell based on denial began... all due to an inordinate sense of worthlessness -- unconsciously believing I was unwanted and not worth being wanted. I am an...
Ever since I learned about the law of attraction (and have experienced it), I have stopped reading newspapers because I don't want to give my attention and energy to the conflicts in this world, but rather to peace and happiness. However, I feel like this is making me ignorant. I really do want to work towards international conflict resolution and peace, but what role should learning history a...
You have said that, "A person who is highly allergic to something usually craves what he is highly allergic to." But then you ask: "How can one body crave what creates conflict and destroys it?" Many people suffer allergies without the knowledge or means to really help themselves. Some of us can't always afford to choose "healthy" foods. Perhaps you have some words of encouragement to those wh...
Don't we all eventually awaken? (From student correspondence)...
I was told recently of a man with a terrible debilitating disease. It was a reminder of a great lack of understanding in me. My first impression is a terrible sense of injustice; the only conclusion to be reached that such a creator of this limited human being must be an evil god. Realizing that my reactions and self in that moment are born from imagination, something incapable of understandin...
Recently I have become involved in a business interest with some gifted and kind people who seem motivated beyond selfish interest. The magnitude of the possibilities seems unlimited...and the outcome would be good for everyone (on the earth). But, I need, want to, to clarify my own motives so that my decisions don't involve the ego and its wants. My desire is to act from the true self...to he...
Hello Guy! I purchased your DVD collection of the Million Year Leap. Disc Two talks about life revelations and fearless living. In this segment, you mention stop, drop and endure. I have been practicing this for some time. One problem I have is when I am in the moment and practicing stopping, dropping and enduring, I'm often very quiet. I am still. I don't say anything. People, one in particul...
