The original meaning of the word "patience" is connected to suffering yourself. Patience brings light into the consciousness that is asleep. "In your patience possess ye your soul."
There is no end to the appearance of what is holy and light. There is no final destination at which we will arrive and be free. Light, freedom and revelation of yourself is Now and always.
Love is what allows us to see that what we are serving has no love in it. Perfect love casts out fear. Fear doesn't know anything about love.
Instead of going into the moment wanting to change the other person, go into it wanting to learn something about yourself. Learn to use moments so that you leave the moment a different order of human being.
The person that is hurting us, psychologically and spiritually speaking, is in more pain than we are in the moment they interact with us.
There are no rules or scripts in real relationships. Relationships become painful because of rulebooks, laws, expectations, scripts and demands.
Practice fearless patience. Let it be the first thing for you as you bear the revelation of yourself in your relationships.
Patience is not tolerance. Tolerance is arrogance.
Each moment has been specifically designed so that our nature that is responsible for our experience of the moment can be revealed.
