Part 1

Any form of painful demand -- whether on others, or upon ourselves -- is born of unconscious attachment; it is proof of a level of consciousness that would rather cling to what has been, than allow real Life to help us see our True Self is not only the living incarnation of each new moment, but the eyes that see it take birth.

Part 2

Unwanted moments in life don’t mark the end of our path through it, let alone what we have yet to discover during our earthly journey; to the contrary, (they are) actually the revelation and realization of an “old” part of us that has outlived its usefulness, and that is being asked by the Divine to give itself up. Why? So that from its seed something new might be born within us, and we within that new life.

Part 1

The problem: we hear, but we don't listen; we see, but we don't sense; we feel but we aren't touched. The more clearly we understand the true nature of this interior imperfection, the more it becomes clear to us... where we must conduct our search for the missing half of our life.

Part 2

Before you can know what to do, the best possible way to answer any given moment, you must know who you are... and what you are not.

Part 3

Any half measure we take in life... is bound to be full of regrets.

Part 4

No moment can be any more complete in life then our willingness to attend to it completely; only by consciously completing each given moment are we brought into a higher order of awareness that -- without taking thought -- understands the actual celestial necessity of that moment. The light of this supernal understanding is the truth that sets us free.

Part 5

Whoever thinks he can see is as good as blind, which is why he can't stop thinking about whatever he sees.

Higher self-awareness is a sacrificial fire; both a flame and its light, it alone is capable of illuminating, and then consuming the shadows cast forth from the world of dreams within which, alone, they dwell; the light of this awareness is a fire that does not burn.

Just as the eyes that see the sun cannot understand its light by which they behold the shape and beauty of all things, neither can the heart understand the love that calls it to know and embrace all things. Eye and heart are creatures in time, but Light and Love are not. Even so, they meet; in their union is the mystery, miracle, and fulfillment of our yet realized Divine possibility.

Part 1

Nothing in the universe can make you relive some painful moment from your past as long as you choose to live in a self-renewing awareness that remembers the following truth for you: no old dark thought has the power to define you, let alone drag you down.

Part 2

Any moment of real change is the past made perfect through the reconciliation of the will of Heaven acting upon the will of earth, and in that union creating the birth of a brand-new creature.

The light we need to be free is always with us; it is at once a creation of life, and the Life that creates it... where “both” are revealed in every moment of life, inseparable from the Divine life within which they ceaselessly unfold. Enlightenment is one and the same as (a) conscious relationship with this timeless order of Being.

Blessed are those who do (what they do)... for the love of being a part of what they love; but few are those who know this Divine order of love, let alone what it’s like to have Love itself as their life partner.

Part 1

Every once in a while, we have the great fortune of perceiving a moment of such astonishing beauty, or harmony, that we all but lose ourselves within it. But what is far more amazing than any such vision is this breathtaking fact: were it not for our mysterious capacity to perfectly reflect that moment -- to be one with it in heart, mind, and soul -- there would be no beauty or harmony to behold.

Part 2

The present moment and our awareness of it are one consciousness, much in the same way as the eye of the beholder shares an awareness of both the mirror, and the object it reflects.

The fear of silent immensity belongs to a lower nature attached to, and dependent on dividing life up into separate experiences in order to generate a familiar, continuing sense of self. Which begs the question: who or what needs to be special when -- in the revelation of any Divine impression -- it's evident that everything is (special) by right of its existence.

Part 1

What is Limitless hides within, and just behind limitation. So anyone who will agree to stand, patiently, within the quiet awareness of any painful sense of inadequacy -- refusing to bow before it -- will soon be crowned with a new and unimaginable strength.

Part 2

When it comes to self-realization, and being liberated from our former limitations so that we can go beyond who and what we have been up until that time, the deal is non-negotiable: first comes our gradual awakening to what no longer works for us, attended to by our inner work to release the same. Then, and only then, dawns the discovery and realization of what is -- in all cases -- a new and higher order of being.

Part 3

Never forget that no real spiritual effort is ever in vain, even when you’re given to see -- as a result of your inner work -- some low estate into which you have fallen. In turn, always remember: the ocean into which all rivers eventually empty themselves is always at their lowest point, and that this lowly place is, in fact, the origin and source of its waters... only in another order of time.

Part 1

To everything there is a season, and life's great cycles of expansion and contraction -- of yes and no -- serve no individual save the one who has uncovered the secret of being in the world, but not of it.

Part 2

Real Life is creation revealing itself through (its) infinite changes. We can either realize our existence within this ceaseless movement -- as a designated player in its Divine design -- or we can continue to struggle with unwanted moments in the false belief that our resistance to them proves we know how the story of life is supposed to unfold.

Part 3

Awareness is consciousness (in the timeless act of) realizing itself as a silent witness to the creation of itself.

Part 1

We can’t be more than we are given to see -- and to be -- IF we agree to allow that awareness to serve its given purpose in each moment. Which is to do what? To reveal -- at once -- all that remains concealed (from us) about our consciousness... so that it might be reconciled, re-integrated, and realize itself as part of a whole greater than the sum of its parts.

Part 2

The entrance into an unimaginable, incorruptible spiritual power begins with seeing that perfect strength is to have no need for power at all.



Part 3

Each physical body has its own level of awareness... but the spirit of (our) soul lives within an unimaginable, and inexplicable awareness of what is sometimes called (our) true "Self". This timeless, higher awareness is inseparable from its (own) permanent estate that reveals, without ever announcing its presence... all that is created, and that then passes through it.
